With over 30 years technical and managerial experience in chemical process and manufacturing industry, Neil Cremin can offer a wide range of independent services to companies using Metal Finishing or Chemical Surface Treatment Technologies. Neil has worked with many manufacturing companies in the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device and Fashion industries utilizing these Chemical Technologies.

In 2006, with increasing focus on the cost of Energy to industry, Neil studied for a Masters in Renewable Energy Systems Technology (REST). CREM Ltd. was established in 2007, a company which delivers solutions to business focusing on Energy Conservation and Efficiency projects as part of their LEAN strategy of eliminating waste in their value stream.

As an experienced Industrial Chemist, Neil has also provided solutions to businesses in Environmental Compliance including IPPC licensing, Hazardous Chemicals/Waste Classification and Movement and delivered Chemical Safety/Compliance Training Courses.

Neil has a proven track record in continuous process improvement, elimination of wastes in the value stream, and designing and installing Quality, Environmental and Energy Management Systems.

Neil completed his LEAN SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT programme at CIT in June 2015.

In the Spring of 2014, CREM Ltd., reviewed its business strategy by focusing on the wealth of expertise and experience developed over many years operating at senior management level in manufacturing industry. CREM Ltd., began to operate under the trading name of “CHEMICAL SURFACE TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES” and launched its new website to bring all the expertise and experience under one site.

One of the first commissions for this new company was to project manage the decontamination and decommissioning of the Chemical Surface Treatment Equipment and Waste Water Treatment plant at his former employer, Andersen Ireland Ltd. The site was cleared of all environmental liabilities to facilitate the purchasers of the building, Innovate Limerick, to complete the surrender of the IPPC licence attached to the site within the agreed timeframe.
